Thanks for your comments donna and kym! the colours are great, I started this piece with a photo from an advertisment then used acrylic paints to extend the image onto the existing page. I also used various sized lids to create the effect of more bubbles. The young girl in the photo has such a cherubic face. I added the 'crown' to her head from another magazine photo. I sometimes think I'm 'cheating' when I use a photo from an ad. as the basis of my image! Peta
Oh My God Peta, she is soooooo gorgeous! I can't wait to receive this book as I have had an idea for it since I saw the first page on the blog. I don't think using magazine pictures is cheating - I do it all the time. Happy Creating, Olley.
